Hello!
We are Roaming With Pups-Maria,Garbo, and Fyn
We have been wandering and roaming forever. Wandering is what brings me the pups the most joy-exploring new places, swimming, hiking, running, climbing etc. I didn’t grow up hiking, but started when I was 17. We have lived in Sweden, Chicago, Utah, Seattle, Brooklyn and Southern California. Most of my trips are now solo with the pups but prior to that my husband and I trekked through the Cascades with our kids every weekend and my youngest learned to nap in the kayak on the Puget Sound. Now, unless I can convince one of my grown kids to join me, it is just me and my trusty pups Garbo and Fyn. After many years of trying to do it all, full time work, living in the city, I decided that I loved the outdoors part of my life so much that it shouldn’t just be a part anymore but needed to be my whole life.
It wasn’t easy to allow myself this life shift where I am in the mountains or swimming in the lake everyday, and it hasn’t come without some struggles.
